CLEANING TIPS

Spraying cleaner on a spot to be removed

Good Things to Know

  1. When a spot or stain occurs, first and foremost, act quickly! The longer a spot or stain remains in the carpet, the harder it is to get out.
  2. Use clean white towels and blot the stain to absorb as much liquid or scrape up as much solid material as possible.
  3. Apply the appropriate ‘spot remover’ as directed for each type of stain.
  4. Always work toward the center of the stain when cleaning.
  5. Repeat steps, if necessary, and always blot between steps with a clean white towel.
  6. Always do a test spot removal on a portion of carpet that is not normally visible. Be careful not to over wet.
  7. NEVER USE BLEACH. If you have any doubts or an extremely difficult stain, call us at (860) 354-2994 for professional service. That's what we're here for!
